Why flat handles are the preferred method: Traditional cryolipolysis devices use suction cups that draw skin and fat into a vacuum chamber. This suction mechanism carries an increased risk of paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) — a serious complication where treated fat cells enlarge rather than reduce — as well as surface irregularities, bruising, and prolonged numbness. Flat-panel handles make direct, even contact with the skin surface over the fat layer, delivering consistent controlled cooling without suction-related risks. The result is a safer, more comfortable experience with more predictable fat reduction and virtually no risk of PAH. Treatment protocol: Sessions are approximately 60 minutes per applicator. Up to 3 areas can be treated simultaneously. Sessions can be performed weekly or fortnightly. Fat cells are crystallised and eliminated via the lymphatic system over 6–12 weeks. Peak results are visible at 8–12 weeks. Facial slimming (buccal and sub-mental fat) can also be performed using precision facial applicators

Pre: Stay well hydrated in the days before. Avoid anti-inflammatories for 5 days prior. Wear comfortable clothing allowing easy access to the treatment area. Post: The treated area will feel firm and numb for 30–60 mins post-treatment — normal. Renee performs a post-treatment massage in-clinic immediately after to stimulate lymphatic drainage. Mild bruising, tingling, or temporary numbness may persist 1–2 weeks. Stay hydrated to support fat clearance. Resume normal activity immediately. Avoid anti-inflammatories for 5 days post-treatment as inflammation is part of the fat elimination process
